The overall objective of the study is formulation of integrated water supply and wastewater management projects in six cities (Bharatpur, Hetauda, Birgunj, Janakpur, Biratnagar, Dharan) with clearly defined integrated interventions which should be technically feasible, economically viable, socially acceptable and environment friendly. The main aim of this consulting service is to provide DWSSM with detailed engineering designs of various water and sanitation interventions, business models for sustainability, IEE/EIA study report for environmental and social safeguard, needs assessment and willingness study of relevant stakeholders like municipality, community and private sector, and other requirements for the proposed projects as outlined in TOR.
