Southern Transport Development Project, Construction Supervision of Pinnaduwa – Godagama Section [EXIM Bank Funded ]

The project comprises the Construction Supervision of the South Section – Pinnaduwa to Godagama (30.25 kms) 4-Lane standards including pavement works in Galle Port Access Road of lengths 5 kms. The project is to widen and complete the construction work of the partially completed South Section of the Southern Expressway from 2-lane standards to 4-lane standards including:

  • Replacement of metal Underpasses and metal Drainage Structures with concrete structures
  • Widening of Reinforced Concrete Underpasses from 2-lane standards to 4-lane standards
  • Construction / widening of 220 Nos. Pipe Culverts and 22 Nos. Box Culverts including toe walls and toe drains.
  • Construction of Asphalt Concrete Pavement
  • Provision of Road Furniture, Safety barrier railings and boundary fences
  • Construction of Toll Plazas at the Interchanges.
