Detail Survey and Design of Slope Stabilization Measures and Upgrading of Road and Construction Supervision of Slope Stabilization Works, Upgrading of Roads and Construction of New Bridges [World Bank Funded]

The main objective of the Road Sector Development Project (RSDP) is upgrading of about 700 km of existing dry season roads to all season sealed pavement connecting in 8 districts headquarters namely – Darchula, Baitadi, Dailekh, Kalikot, Bajhang, Jumla, Musikot and Jajarkot. There is still need of implementation of slope  stabilization measures at various locations of RSDP roads including reinstatement/upgrading of different short stretches of roads. Similarly, about 34 bridges still need to be contructed in order to make these roads allweather.

The Government of Nepal intends to undertake survey and design services of slope stabilization measures and upgrading of scattered stretches of roads along RSDP roads. It also intends to undertake supervision of the execution of slope stabilization and road upgrading works including construction of 37 new bridges.
