The Consultancy services included the development of a system to enhance the monitoring and evaluation of the Rural Water Supply Schemes managed by the Community-Based Organizations (CBO) to improve the sustainability of water supply and sanitation service delivery and to enhance the performance of all CBOs in the country through:
- Establishing a Geospatial Monitoring & Evaluation System (M&E)
- Developing a mechanism (GIS-based system) to monitor, evaluate & improve the performance and sustainability of rural water supply schemes
- Carrying out a baseline survey of CBO schemes in seven Districts, Nuwara Eliya, Badulla, Moneragala, Kegalle, Ratnapura, Mullathivu, and Kilinochchi Districts, using android android-based data collection tool
Training of relevant staff on monitoring & Evaluation to carry out end-line surveys.
