Detailed Engineering Design and Bidding Documents for the Bavet Urban Road
Among the infrastructure sub-projects identified under the Project is the improvement and widening of the main urban road (National Road No. 1) including the construction of drainage structures on both roadsides in Bavet Town.
The Consultants is required to carry-out detailed engineering design (DED) and preparation of bidding documents for the Bavet Urban Road Sub-Project which involves the improvement of the 8 km main urban road with the following components:
1. Widening of the main road from a 2-lane road to a 4-lane main urban road;
2. Construction of mid road divider with trees and lighting facilities; and
3. Construction of drainage structures on both sides including cross drains and culverts of the 8 km main road.
Construction Supervision of Southern Economic Corridor Towns Development Project
The project will support ten priority subprojects to improve urban infrastructure and enhance climate resilience in the four project towns of Battambang, Bavet, Neak Loeung, and Poipet. The priority subprojects include:
• Construction of Battambang Material Recovery Facility Sub Project
• Construction of Bavet Material Recovery Facility Sub Project
• Construction of Poipet Material Recovery Facility Sub Project
• Improvement/Rehabilitation of National Road No.1 from Pk 159 to Pk 165 (6.31 Km) at Bavet Urban Road Section
• Battambang Wastewater Treatment Sub Project
• Poipet Wastewater Treatment Sub Project (Storm Drain)
• Construction of Bavet Wastewater Treatment Sub Project (Drainage)
• Construction of Neak Loeung Flood Control Sub Project
